After a combined total of 10 tests these past couple of weeks and a million assignments, we finally got to do something fun. We went to Pocahontas Park for some good old camping.
We and the Innes' pretty much forgot everything (including their tent poles), except for the tinfoil dinners. Luckily we went with the pros that remembered everything. Like these rolls on sticks!
And this is how Matt and Nat slept without tent poles. I really wanted them to squeeze on our mattress with us but they didn't go for it.
Don't worry, Eric definitely brought our TV from goodwill and Nintendo 64 so we could all play Mario Kart.
Now that we had this short break, Thanksgiving couldn't come soon enough. Huge success for the Wood's first camping experience.
